Student Small Group Instructional Feedback (SGIF) is a formative mid-course check-in process (NOT evaluation) requested by individual faculty for gathering information from students on their learning experience. It is designed for faculty to foster dialogues with students via CTL’s facilitation, taking about 15 minutes in your class. Please see more details about this program here and sign up here.
Visit a Classroom (VaC) aims to stimulate reflection on teaching and learning, NOT evaluation. A group of 3 to 4 faculty participants across disciplines will visit one another’s classrooms to observe teaching techniques and learning interactions. Faculty would expect to learn from each other and reflect on their own teaching. The goal is to create a respectful, reciprocal, and reflective dialogue on teaching and learning among faculty.
