The center brings together students and scholars at Duke Kunshan University, Wuhan University, and other institutions across China and around the world to pursue a common scholarly interest in contemporary Chinese affairs. Many of the center’s activities are open to the broader community.
Xiayun Zhou has been a member of DKU faculty since 2014, sharing her expertise as a Chinese language lecturer. She brings her experience in teaching Chinese to international students across various proficiency levels. She is also offering tailored Chinese language courses for the university’s international staff and faculty. To extend her expertise beyond the classroom, she serves as an academic advisor to UG students at DKU. Additionally, she assumes the role of a faculty advisor for Intersections, an online journal featuring writing in language, culture, and ideas.
