Congratulations to Dr. Annemieke van den Dool and Jialin on Publishing a Paper in the Policy Studies Journal

We are delighted to share some exciting news with you about our affiliate, Annemieke van den Dool, and her student, Jialin Li. With the support of the CSCC Student Research Grant, they have recently co-authored an article in the Policy Studies Journal, one of the top journals in the field of public policy.

Their article, entitled “What do we know about the punctuated equilibrium theory in China? A systematic review and research priorities,” conducts a meta-analysis of 88 Chinese-language journal articles on Punctuated Equilibrium Theory (PET) in China, and identifies significant implications for both Chinese PET research and China’s policy progress. This work not only contributes greatly to the field of public policy, but it also showcases the quality of research that can be conducted by our faculty-student research teams at DKU.

We are incredibly proud of Annemieke and Jialin for their exceptional work. This achievement highlights the value that DKU places on research and collaboration between faculty and students. We hope that this accomplishment will inspire other students to pursue research opportunities and aim high in their academic endeavors.

Please join us in congratulating Annemieke and Jialin on this well-deserved recognition of their research excellence.
