Hi, I’m Jingxuan (Elena) Zhuge, a senior majoring in Global Health and Public Policy at DKU. I have been with CSCC since Fall 2022, an experience that has given me valuable insights into cutting-edge research on China. My research interests mainly lie in geriatric health, chronic disease management, and cancer. This past summer, I explored the association between oral health and cognitive impairment in older adults in China, along with the mediating role of dietary diversity. Besides that, my signature work is about the risk of pancreatic cancer in people with diabetes.
