The center brings together students and scholars at Duke Kunshan University, Wuhan University, and other institutions across China and around the world to pursue a common scholarly interest in contemporary Chinese affairs. Many of the center’s activities are open to the broader community.
Zhe Yan is a postdoctoral research fellow at Constructor University Bremen. He is a Scholar in Residence at Duke Kunshan University. He received his Ph.D. in China Studies from the University of Würzburg, Germany. His current research interests include aging and caregiving, social welfare policy, gender and work.
