Intro to GIS - Exploring the world with Google Earth and ArcGIS

Creating digital maps and using them to understand the world is an increasingly valuable skill in every discipline. GIS, or Geographic Information Systems, is a field of study that uses advanced digital tools to make creating and processing maps easier and more useful than ever before. In this session, learn how to use two popular tools to create your own maps which you can use for study, research, or just personal exploration of the world.
