Faculty Position (Rank Open) in Medical Physics

Duke Kunshan University seeks applicants for a faculty position (rank open) in the area of Medical Physicsto start as early as August 2018. Duke Kunshan University currently has a masters program in Medical Physics, and is building its research and industrial and clinical collaborations in the area of medical physics. 

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in an appropriate field at the time of application.The position is open to individuals with expertise in either therapeutic or imaging physics with priority given to candidates having completed at least postdoctoral researchtraining. Professional certification in medical physics bythe American Board of Radiology is not required but is highly desirable. Candidates may be interested in blended careers that have an academic component and a component in industry or clinical healthcare, and the university will consider such arrangements.Candidates must demonstrate an ability to conduct outstanding independent research and be an excellent teacher (or show promise for excellent teaching and mentoring). Candidates whose research and/or teaching are interdisciplinary and focusedinMedical Physics are strongly encouraged to apply.

Duke Kunshan University is a partnership of Duke University, Wuhan University and the Municipality of Kunshan, China (https://dukekunshan.edu.cn/). * The Duke Kunshan campus is 37 miles west of Shanghai in Kunshan,and is connected to Shanghai via an 18-minute high-speed train and a subway-light rail train system.
