Bio: Born in Turkey in 1990, in city of Ankara, Kinay completed her undergraduate studies in 2012. During her undergraduate studies she learned Chinese. For her MBA studies she came to China to study in Suzhou University. She completed her Master degree in 2014, and started her PhD at XJTLU in 2015, in the Department of Health and Environmental Sciences. Kinay is currently waiting for her defense on her thesis regarding her project with the topic 'Climate Change Adaptation and Human Health: Reducing Climate Change Health Risks in the Ageing Chinese Population' (n=3466). She always had a high interest in environmental issues, which is why she chose to continue her career in environmental field. Currently she is working on two research papers apart from one published in Environmental Reviews which highly contributed to the literature, and 2 others in submission process. Pelin is a determined, dynamic, logical individual with a lot of positivity towards personal and professional aspects of life.
