Contractor

Enying Gong, MSc., is a contractor at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University.

She received her bachelor degree from Peking University, China and master degree in global health at Duke University, US.  She interned at World Health Organization, Duke Hospital and the George Institute for Global Health, China prior to joining Duke Kunshan University. Her research interests include cardiovascular diseases prevention and control, primary healthcare system strengthening, mobile health and health aging. 

Research Coordinator

Wanbing Gu, MSc., is a research coordinator for NCD Program at the Duke Kunshan University Global Health Research Center.

She received her bachelor degree in Engineering from China Agricultural University and received her master degree in Science from Duke University. She interned in World Health Organization China Office prior to joining DKU. Her research interests include health economics, non-communicable diseases, mHealth etc.

 

Research Analyst in Health Policy and System Research

Lei Guo is Research Analyst at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University.

He received his Bachelor degree from Peking University and Master degree from Duke University as a graduate of Global Health Master Program in Duke Kunshan University. Previously, he interned at Duke Kunshan University, Peking University, Novartis Oncology, and the National Health and Family Planning Commission. His research interests include health system reform, health equity, and program evaluation.

Lab Technician

Hailong Han is the Lab Technician at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University.

He has significant experience conducting water and air pollution monitoring along with various laboratory based sample analysis methods and quantified biomarkers in a variety of biological media (urine, blood, exhaled breath condensate) to characterize air pollution exposure or health impact among healthy adults, newborns, and patients with COPD, tuberculosis or ischemic heart disease. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Heilongjiang University, China in 2011.  Previously, he had years of working experience with multiple institutions like Duke Global Health Institute & Nicholas School of the Environment, Environmental Monitoring Center of Heilongjiang Province, Environmental Monitoring Center of Harbin City and etc.

Research Coordinator and Analyst

Weixi Jiang, Msc is Research Coordinator and Analyst at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University. She received her B.S.

in chemistry and B.A. in economics from Peking University, and MSc in Global Health from Duke Global Health Institute. During her undergraduate study she worked as a research assistant at the George Institute for Global Health, focusing on chronic diseases in rural China. Her research interests include exploring the financing of health care system, assessing the impact of pharmaceutical policy and health outcome evaluation.

Biostatistical Research Analyst

Yaxi Li, MSc., is a biostatistical research analyst at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University.


 She received her bachelor degree in Preventive Medicine and master degree in Epidemiology and Health Statistics from Sichuan University, China. She has conducted researches related to quality assessment for community management of severe mental illness, policy study for reducing maternal and neonatal mortality, using both quantitative and qualitative methods, including multi-level data analyses. Her main job responsibilities are data analysis and statistical model building for NCD and aging research projects.

Research Study Coordinator

Xinye Wang, MSc., is Research Study Coordinator in One Health at the Duke Kunshan University Global Health Research Center.

She received her bachelor’s degree at Indiana University Bloomington and master's degree in Global Health from Duke University. Her research interests include assessing the zoonotic diseases or infectious diseases by applying the One Health framework, and health economic.

Research Analyst

Shangzhi Xiong (aka. Benson), MSc. is a research analyst at the Global Health Research Center (GHRC), Duke Kunshan University (DKU).


 He received his bachelor degree from Wuhan University, China in 2016, and graduated from DKU in 2018, receiving Master of Science degree in Global Health from Duke University. Previously, Shangzhi interned at African Population and Health Research Center in Nairobi, Kenya, and worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at GHRC of DKU in 2017. Shangzhi’s major research interests include community-based non-communicable disease prevention and control, eHealth-enabled health promotion, and primary health service delivery.

Project Assistant

Jingyao Zhang is a project assistant in NCD Research at the Global Health Research Center, Duke Kunshan University.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and International Business at University of Westminster in London, UK. Before joining the Global Health Research Center, she worked under the Operations department at Duke Kunshan University.
