All applicants to our graduate program in China must hold the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Although each graduate course of study may have additional requirements, the following materials are required for every application:
- Completed online application form
- Resume / CV
- Statement of purpose. The statement should be one to two pages long and briefly explain your reason for applying to Duke Kunshan. It must also provide some background information about your goals, skills, and past achievements, and offer any additional information to explain why you qualify for Duke Kunshan’s graduate program in China.
- Letters of recommendation. You must submit at least three letters of recommendation (preferably two academic references and one professional reference).
- Transcript. Your application must include a transcript from each undergraduate and graduate institution you have attended.
- Other specific requirements for each individual program.
In line with Duke Kunshan’s philosophy to provide educational opportunities to talented students from various backgrounds, every student is automatically considered for a merit scholarship based on their graduate school application.
