Noah Holdings Names a Classroom at Duke Kunshan

On May 20, 2017, Ms. Wang Jingbo, Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Noah Holdings Limited and a new member of Duke Kunshan Advisory Board, announced to make a gift of 600,000 USD to Duke Kunshan University. The fund will be used to name a classroom on campus in support of Duke Kunshan’s development, in particular the undergraduate program to be launched in fall 2018.

Duke President Richard Brodhead, Associate Vice President Wendy Kuran, Advisory Board Chair Rick Wagoner as well as many Advisory Board members, witnessed the donation ceremony. Executive Vice Chancellor Denis Simon expressed thanks to Ms. Wang Jingbo and Noah Holdings with a donation certificate.

Ms. Wang stressed that it was delightful to be connected with Duke, one of the most prestigious universities in the world. She and Noah Holdings are proud to make contributions to Duke Kunshan, a full embodiment of Duke’s pioneering and innovative spirits. During the 2017 annual Advisory Board meeting held on the same day, Ms. Wang also shared her ideas and insights upon education and entrepreneurship, showing strong confidence in Duke Kunshan’s liberal arts and science curriculum.

Ms. Wang pointed out that Noah Holdings was committed to building a learning organization, making ‘growth of the heart and mind’ one of its corporate values.
