DKU Senior Leaders

Kunshan, June 15, 2015 – Duke Kunshan University (DKU), a Sino-American partnership of Duke University and Wuhan University, has appointed two senior leaders to lead the university’s undergraduate programs and the Library.

The PKU-DUKE Global Health Certificate Program was successfully held at Duke Kunshan University from June 1 to 12, 2015. A total of 30 health professionals, coming from various institutions such as Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese entry-exit inspection and quarantine system, China’s National Health and Family Planning Commission, Peking University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, received certificates after completing two weeks’ training in Kunshan.

June 4, Chongqing – DKU Global Health Research Center (GHRC) team, two Amsterdam Health & Technology Institute (AHTI) experts, Michiel Heidenrijk and Mark J. Geels, and Prof. Ninghua Wang from Peking University visited Chongqing Medical University (CMU) and Dianjiang County from June 1 to June 4th. Kunshan, May 30, 2015 – Duke Kunshan University held a two-day forum themed on "reform of chronic non-communicable diseases and the Chinese medical system" on May 29 - 30 in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, China. A first for the university, the Kunshan Forum attracted medical experts and scholars in the health field from around 50 of the world’s leading universities and research institutions from China and abroad.

May 21, Duke Kunshan University (DKU) researchers’ article was published as a commentary in response to an international study on temperature and mortality in the latest issue of The Lancet.
