Feb 18, Kunshan - As the opening convocation for the Global Learning Semester program (GLS) kicked off the Spring 2016 semester, the campus of Duke Kunshan University regained its dynamism and vigor. A total of 61 undergraduate students from Chinese and international universities joined Duke Kunshan leaders and faculty members at the ceremony to mark the official start of their semester-long study at Duke Kunshan University.

Backed by a research grant from the Health Systems Research Initiative (UK), Dr. Lijing Yan from Duke Kunshan University and her collaborators are engaged in a three-year stroke study entitled “System-Integrated Technology-Enabled Model of Care Aiming to Improve the Health of Stroke Patients in Poorly Resourced Settings in China (The SINEMA Trial)”.

Duke Kunshan University will offer a new international master’s degree in environmental policy (MEP) beginning in the fall of 2017.

The four-semester, 16-course program is designed to meet the growing global need for leaders who are versed in both Chinese and international environmental issues and policies. Student recruitment will begin this spring.
