Kunshan, May 30, 2015 – Duke Kunshan University held a two-day forum themed on "reform of chronic non-communicable diseases and the Chinese medical system" on May 29 - 30 in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, China. A first for the university, the Kunshan Forum attracted medical experts and scholars in the health field from around 50 of the world’s leading universities and research institutions from China and abroad.

May 21, Duke Kunshan University (DKU) researchers’ article was published as a commentary in response to an international study on temperature and mortality in the latest issue of The Lancet.

Kunshan, May 20, 2015– Duke Kunshan University (DKU) and Duke’s Fuqua School of Business held a graduation ceremony for the inaugural class of the Master of Management Studies: Duke Kunshan University program. The 32 newly minted graduates in the Class of 2015 were from eight countries and were awarded a Master of Management Studies degree from Duke University. They are the first DKU students to graduate since the school began in 2014.

On April 14, Professor Haiyan Gao, vice chancellor for academic affairs at Duke Kunshan University, gave a talk on proton at a plenary session of the American Physical Society’s April Meeting 2015. Titled “Proton – a fascinating relativistic many-body system – remain puzzling”, Professor Gao’s presentation reviewed the puzzles surrounding proton and the efforts to solve them.
