The leaders of Duke Kunshan University (DKU) and its founders, Duke University, Wuhan University and Kunshan City, unveiled DKU’s state-of-the-art campus at an celebratory event Monday. The 40-acre campus was designed by the architecture firm Gensler, and blends traditional Chinese elements with advanced educational technology in a spacious, modern setting.

DKU students will kick off the second half of the fall semester on the DKU campus this weekend. The students moved into the DKU Conference Center early Friday morning and were received by the Student Life team as well as their Residence Advisors (RA).

Kunshan, China -- Duke Kunshan University (DKU) has appointed Haiyan Gao as vice chancellor for academic affairs, DKU Executive Vice Chancellor Mary Brown Bullock announced today.

Gao is the Henry Newson Professor and chair of the Department of Physics at Duke University. She has also served as chair of Duke’s China Faculty Council.
