Duke Kunshan University (DKU) has been selected by the Asia Pacific Observatory on Health Systems and Policies (APO) as a Research Hub for health policy and system research. The APO is hosted in WHO’S Western Pacific Regional Office. 

Kunshan, December 16, 2014 – Duke Kunshan University (DKU) held a closing ceremony for the first class of the Undergraduate Global Learning Semester (GLS) program Tuesday afternoon. Sixty-one students from more than 20 Chinese and international universities were awarded program certificates at the ceremony and will also receive course credit from Duke University.

Global health leaders from around the world gathered for the Third second Global Health Institutional Partnership Network Meeting held by Fudan University, Duke Kunshan University and Duke Global Health institute last week in Kunshan, where Duke Kunshan University is located.

On November 20, 5 First-year Chinese students and 1 advanced intermediate Chinese student from Duke Kunshan University (DKU) visited Xi Tang Experimental Primary School in Kunshan High-Tech zone. The visit was organized and led by Chinese language lecturer Xu Li, who wanted her students to gain firsthand student-life experience at a local school.

The leaders of Duke Kunshan University (DKU) and its founders, Duke University, Wuhan University and Kunshan City, unveiled DKU’s state-of-the-art campus at an celebratory event Monday. The 40-acre campus was designed by the architecture firm Gensler, and blends traditional Chinese elements with advanced educational technology in a spacious, modern setting.
