Research Fields: Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Engineering and Materials Science, Information Sciences, Medicine
NSFC supports international travel (economy class airfare) of Chinese researchers to the United Kingdom, and accommodation, meals, and inter-city transportation for British researchers in China. The Royal Society of the United Kingdom supports the international travel expenses of British researchers to China and the accommodation, food, and inter-city transportation expenses of Chinese researchers in the United Kingdom.
Award: NSFC provides 100,000 RMB per grant, and RS provides £12, 000 per grant.
Eligibility: 1) Proposal PI must be the leading PI or the main participant in the ongoing NSFC projects that last at least 3 years; 2) Both sides shall submit the proposal to NSFC and RS separately. 3) Young scientists are preferred to apply.
