Budget Total: No more than RMB 10,000/project.

Priority Areas:

1. Special Projects (Scientific Projects) aim to fund activities related to the development of the National Natural Science Foundation, such as strategic and management research, academic exchange activities, science communication, and platform establishment.
2. This Special Project (Scientific Project) seeks applications for: symposiums that can effectively promote the development of interdisciplinary sciences or contribute to the top-level design and strategic planning in the field of interdisciplinary science.

4. Start and end dates of the activity
5. Scope of participation, scale, and potential impact

The project topics should have significant foresight and interdisciplinarity, playing a promoting role in the top-level design and strategic planning of the Department of Interdisciplinary Sciences. The expected outcomes of the scientific activity project must include research reports, activity summaries, publications, etc., related to the theme of the activity. If the application is funded, the outcomes will be an important basis for the final review.

Project Period: The research duration in the application should be filled out as: January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

Eligibility:

1. Experience in undertaking basic research projects or other basic research activities
2. Holding a senior professional technical position (title) 高级专业技术职务（职称）and principal research scientist 研究员

Quota Requirements:

1. This special project is not included in the total of two projects that senior professional technical position (title)/principal research scientist personnel can apply for and undertake.
2. Applicants may only apply for one special project from the Department of Interdisciplinary Sciences in the same year.

Applications that do not meet the requirements of the management measures, project guidelines, and this announcement will not be accepted.
